Spire

This photo was taken just outside my home in December of 2023. I woke up that morning to find the street lights obscured by a heavy fog that had found its rest in the valley. With the temperatures barely below freezing and a calm wind gently moving the water saturated air, it froze everything left exposed to the elements. With a closer inspection, I found that every branch and chain link fence had formed many of its own spires.
